Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0 to 2 years of related experience is beneficial
  • Ability to follow recipes and prepare food consistently
  • Team-oriented and adaptable
  • Reliable with good attendance
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and kitchen equipment operation
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Job Duties

  • Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, grill, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods including breakfast, lunch, dinner, and special/catered events
  • Read and measure/mix ingredients according to recipes
  • Prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station, fryer, and other kitchen equipment
  • Attend work and show for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Follow health and safety standards in the kitchen and maintain cleanliness and organization
  • Collaborate with team members to reduce food waste and promote a safe working environment
  • Perform other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
