Job Requirements

  • 0-2 years related experience
  • Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
  • Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to reach with hands and use fingers to handle objects
  • Ability to bend and stoop
  • Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate clearly
  • Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus
  • Must be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
  • Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area
  • Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
  • Must be dependable and have strong teamwork skills

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 0-2 years related experience in a restaurant or food service environment
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant practices and procedures
  • Ability to follow recipes and standard cooking methods accurately
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • Dependability and strong teamwork skills

Job Duties

  • Prepare each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
  • Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
  • Prepare visually appealing meals and deliver hot and fresh meals in a timely manner
  • Follow recipe and storyboards to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods according to proper preparation methods
  • Work with approved cooking equipment and cooking methods to deliver high quality meals
  • Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
  • Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene
  • Understand and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen policies
  • Maintain high quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
  • Prioritize food preparation so all items for check are finished simultaneously
  • Properly maintain and operate kitchen equipment
  • Assist in other job categories as needed
  • Perform all other duties as assigned
