Job Requirements
- 0-2 years related experience
- Ability to stand and walk for entire shift
- Ability to push, lift, carry and transfer up to 50 pounds
- Ability to reach with hands and use fingers to handle objects
- Ability to bend and stoop
- Ability to taste, smell, and verbally communicate clearly
- Ability to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and adjust focus
- Must be able to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to freely access all areas of the restaurant including selling floor, stock area, and register area
- Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Must be dependable and have strong teamwork skills
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 0-2 years related experience in a restaurant or food service environment
- Strong knowledge of restaurant practices and procedures
- Ability to follow recipes and standard cooking methods accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- Dependability and strong teamwork skills
Job Duties
- Prepare each order by following company recipes, carryout procedures, and plating standards
- Ensure proper food handling and sanitation procedures are followed
- Prepare visually appealing meals and deliver hot and fresh meals in a timely manner
- Follow recipe and storyboards to prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and other foods according to proper preparation methods
- Work with approved cooking equipment and cooking methods to deliver high quality meals
- Practice and uphold health and sanitation standards
- Maintain high standards of personal grooming and hygiene
- Understand and comply consistently with standard portion sizes, quality standards, and kitchen policies
- Maintain high quality and appearance for all food prepared and served
- Prioritize food preparation so all items for check are finished simultaneously
- Properly maintain and operate kitchen equipment
- Assist in other job categories as needed
- Perform all other duties as assigned
