Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior experience in a grill or line cook role strongly preferred
  • Understanding of food safety standards and kitchen sanitation
  • Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
  • Capability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to quality
  • Excellent time management and multitasking abilities

Job Qualifications

  • Passion for cooking and demonstrated ability to operate grill equipment in a high-volume setting
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with exceptional time management skills
  • Attention to detail in food preparation and presentation
  • Previous experience as a grill chef or line cook is preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Operate and maintain grill equipment to prepare menu items accurately and efficiently
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene standards are strictly followed throughout the grilling process
  • Prepare food items to the specified portion sizes and presentation standards
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen team members to ensure timely order fulfillment
  • Monitor grill station stock and communicate needs to management
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation to comply with health codes
  • Assist in training new grill staff and participate in ongoing culinary skill development
