Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- no prior experience required
- strong customer service orientation preferred
- ability to follow detailed procedures and ensure accuracy in documentation
- ability to work varied schedules including weekends, holidays, and peak seasons
- ability to pass background check and drug screening
- ability to obtain Oklahoma food handler permit
- ability to obtain Oklahoma ABLE license
- physical ability to stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, and handle exposure to fumes, airborne particles, noise, and lighting fluctuations
Job Qualifications
- Any combination of education, training or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities, with a high school diploma or GED preferred
- previous hospitality experience with strong customer service orientation is preferred
- ability to read and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
Job Duties
- Portray a positive attitude under all circumstances
- understand and represent the core values of Apache Casino Hotel and live the mission of always providing exceptional service
- prepare, dish up and serve food menu items offered at Apache Grill according to established recipes and procedures, serving hot food hot and cold food cold, with appropriate condiments, napkins, and other standard products to complete the order, ensuring complete customer (guest and team member) satisfaction
- responsible for opening and/or closing Apache Grill in accordance with operating procedures, safety and sanitation regulations, and cash control policies and procedures
- demonstrate an upbeat and outgoing demeanor while on duty, remembering the customer is always right
- comply with reasonable requests with a smile, without challenging the request
- ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, laws, internal policies, procedures, and control protocols
- effectively communicate with and provide guests with required service, resolving guest service issues in accordance with authority
- ensure appearance of Apache Grill is maintained in a clean, well-stocked and functional manner
- use knowledge of food and beverage sanitation, guest service, cash control policies, practices, and protocols
- knowledge, skills, and abilities to work with personal computers, point of sale systems, food holding and production systems, kitchen equipment, safety equipment, food, and beverage sanitation
- perform other related duties as may be assigned by reporting supervisor
