Job Requirements
- Ability to read and write in order to communicate and give instructions to patients
- No prior work experience required
- Must be able to stoop, bend, reach, and grab with arms and hands
- Manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods
- Capability to exert in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally
- Ability to work in environments with exposure to blood, body fluids, and tissues
- Willingness to comply with healthcare regulations and safety protocols
- Ability to work in a team setting

Job Duties
- Greets patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner
- Assists patients in and out of vehicles safely
- Directs patients and visitors to appropriate departments and answers questions accurately
- Works harmoniously with volunteers and medical personnel to ensure a steady supply of wheelchairs at front doors
- Maintains assigned entrances in a clean and orderly manner
- Participates in personnel development activities and required training
- Adapts behavior to meet the specific patient population's needs including respect for privacy and communication style
- Performs other related duties as required
