Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
  • Familiarity with reservation systems is desirable
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Friendly and professional demeanor

Job Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality role is preferred
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional appearance and a warm, approachable demeanor
  • Ability to remain calm and organized in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Familiarity with reservation systems such as OpenTable or Resy is a plus
  • Must have flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet and welcome guests promptly and warmly upon arrival
  • Manage reservations and walk-in seating using the restaurant's reservation system
  • Provide accurate wait times and accommodate seating preferences when possible
  • Escort guests to their tables and introduce the menu or evening’s specials
  • Offer menu recommendations or general information about dishes or specials
  • Monitor dining room flow and communicate seating needs with the service team
  • Thank guests upon departure and invite them to return
  • Ensure a clean and organized host stand area at all times
