The role of Greeter/Counter Desk Attendant at Lucky Strike Entertainment is an exciting opportunity to be the first point of contact for guests entering the venue, setting the welcoming tone that helps define the visiting experience. This position is vital in creating a positive and energetic environment that enhances guest satisfaction and loyalty. Job Requirements
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
- Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol
- Ability to provide friendly and courteous customer service
- Capability to operate POS and related systems
- Ability to manage waitlists and equipment assignments
- Strong communication skills for assisting and instructing guests
- Willingness to stand, walk, and perform light physical tasks during shifts
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is a plus
- Proven success in school or previous job experience
- Excellent telephone etiquette
- Must meet the minimum age required by state law to serve alcohol
Job Duties
- Be friendly and inviting to guests in person and over the phone
- Manage the waitlist
- Track availability and assign lanes, shoes, and other equipment
- Prepare for leagues
- Ring sales at the counter and follow cash control procedures
- Promptly notify mechanics of pinspotter/pinsetter malfunctions and log these issues
- Assist guests with basic bowling instruction
- Operate POS system, central panel, computers, and P/A system
