Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
- One to three months related experience or training
- Knowledge of telephones, codes, alarms, two-way radios, disaster phone, fire panel, and surveillance system
- Ability to read, speak, and write English
- Basic typing and computer skills
- Ability to handle stressful situations calmly
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen
- One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Knowledge of telephones, codes, alarms, two-way radios, disaster phone, fire panel and surveillance system
- Ability to read, speak and write standard English
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
- Ability to perform general typing and basic computer skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in stressful situations
Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, patients, co-workers, and clients
- Acknowledge and greet guests and patients with a professional and friendly demeanor
- Answer the telephone promptly and politely using the salutation of the day
- Demonstrate willingness and ability to assist others and respond to emergencies on a priority basis
- Practice proper client and Towne Park phone etiquette and assist visitors with directions and inquiries
- Provide guests and patients with information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions while ensuring confidentiality
- Report all accidents and incidents observed during the shift to the appropriate supervisor and follow hospital disaster codes and response plans
- Operate equipment safely and within training guidelines
