Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
  • One to three months related experience or training
  • Knowledge of telephones, codes, alarms, two-way radios, disaster phone, fire panel, and surveillance system
  • Ability to read, speak, and write English
  • Basic typing and computer skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and able to pass a criminal background and drug screen
  • One to three months related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Knowledge of telephones, codes, alarms, two-way radios, disaster phone, fire panel and surveillance system
  • Ability to read, speak and write standard English
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
  • Ability to write simple correspondence
  • Ability to understand 24-hour and military time systems
  • Ability to perform general typing and basic computer skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and remain calm in stressful situations

Job Duties

  • Maintain pleasant, friendly and professional demeanor with all guests, patients, co-workers, and clients
  • Acknowledge and greet guests and patients with a professional and friendly demeanor
  • Answer the telephone promptly and politely using the salutation of the day
  • Demonstrate willingness and ability to assist others and respond to emergencies on a priority basis
  • Practice proper client and Towne Park phone etiquette and assist visitors with directions and inquiries
  • Provide guests and patients with information about facility outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, and local attractions while ensuring confidentiality
  • Report all accidents and incidents observed during the shift to the appropriate supervisor and follow hospital disaster codes and response plans
  • Operate equipment safely and within training guidelines
