Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights, and weekends as required
- Ability to work in noisy, fast-paced environments with distractions
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to move around the facility and stand for long periods
- Ability to walk or stand for 100% of the shift
- Ability to reach, bend, and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to remain friendly and approachable in a fast-paced environment
- Basic knowledge of computer operations or willingness to learn kiosk systems
- Ability to work cooperatively in a team setting
- Capable of standing for long periods and moving around the facility
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in English
- Understanding of sanitation and safety protocols
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks, and games in a fun atmosphere
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of issues and take corrective action when necessary
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Assess guest demeanor and alert management as needed
- Provide a welcoming experience to each and every guest with friendliness and frequent smiles
- Greet, guide, and direct all guests as they enter the building, managing guest flow efficiently
- Maintain knowledge of current promotions and Power Card offerings and answer guest questions
- Assist guests with self-serve kiosks for purchasing Power Cards, joining waitlists, or reserving social bays
- Support the host team as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of lobby and front doors
- Assist other team members as needed
- Foster cooperating and positive working relationships with team members
- Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Articulate clear greetings, requests for assistance, and farewells to guests
- Listen attentively to guest needs and communicate effectively with both guests and team members
- Maintain proper dress code, looking neat, clean, and professional
