Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in guest hosting or related hospitality role preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask effectively
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
- Basic proficiency with reservation and phone systems
Job Qualifications

- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant guest services preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Basic knowledge of restaurant operations and reservation systems

- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet and acknowledge all arriving guests, however busy and whatever time of day
- Answer restaurant telephone courteously and efficiently as specified in departmental standards
- Take record and confirm restaurant reservations/cancellations as specified in departmental standards
- Maintain positive guest relations at all times
- Escort guests to tables and assist in seating at tables
- present menus and extend congenialities in accordance with department guidelines
- Maintain complete knowledge of scheduled daily activities and in-house groups
- Maintain daily house count
- Maintain knowledge of hotel extension numbers
- Understand hours of operation of each outlet, ambiance, menu selections, and price range
- Know features and services provided by the hotel
- Maintain complete knowledge of all menu items, specials, and items of the restaurant
- Prepare station chart and assign stations to staff following departmental procedures
- Set up a station with necessary supplies
- maintain cleanliness at all times
- Report shortages to supervisor
- Inspect tables and stations, ensuring that all set-ups meet department standards
- Check throughout the meal period
- Relay deficiencies to respective personnel and follow up on corrections
- Ensure tables are cleaned and reset according to standards
- Legibly document pertinent information in restaurant logbook
- Take record and relay messages in accordance with standards
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
