Job Qualifications
- at least 18 years of age
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English
- customer service experience preferred but not required
- ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, and distracting environment
- basic knowledge of current promotions and offerings at Dave & Buster's helpful
- comfortable using technology such as self-service kiosks
- ability to stand and walk for long periods
- friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to smile frequently
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work cooperatively with team members
- adherence to company dress code and professional appearance standards
Job Duties
- deliver an unparalleled guest experience through the best combination of food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- keep immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance
- creates a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- adhere to company’s sanitation procedures
- assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to the attention of a manager
- provide a welcoming experience to each and every guest with friendliness and frequent smiles
- greet, guide, and direct all guests as they enter the building, managing flow efficiently
- maintain a thorough understanding of all current promotions and power card offerings and answer questions regarding games and activities
- assist guests with self-serve kiosks for purchasing power cards, adding themselves to waitlists, or reserving social bays
- work as additional support for the host team as needed
- ensure the cleanliness and organization of the lobby area and front doors
- assist other team members as needed
- maintain favorable working relationships with all team members to promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate
- communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the D&B experience
- read and communicate in English clearly
- dress in proper dress code, neat, clean and professional at all times
