Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to work days, nights and weekends as required
- Ability to work in noisy, fast paced environment with distractions
- Ability to read and write handwritten notes
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to move about facility and stand for long periods
- Ability to walk or stand 100 percent of shift
- Ability to reach, bend and stoop frequently
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to engage guests and create a positive atmosphere
- Comfort with technology including self-serve kiosks
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Friendly and approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills to handle transactions and promotions
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation standards
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must be able to read, write and speak English clearly
Job Duties
- Deliver an unparalleled guest experience through food, drinks and games in an ideal environment for celebrating all out fun
- Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems or unusual matters and take prompt corrective action or suggest alternatives
- Create a warm, fun atmosphere for guests and team members
- Adhere to company sanitation procedures
- Assess guest demeanor and identify when behavior should be called to a manager
- Provide a welcoming experience to every guest and maintain friendliness with frequent smiles
- Greet, guide and direct all guests as they enter and manage flow efficiently
- Maintain thorough understanding of current promotions and answer questions about games and activities
- Assist guests with self-serve kiosks for purchasing power cards, waitlist additions, and social bay reservations
- Support host team as needed
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of lobby and front doors
- Assist other team members as needed
- Maintain favorable working relationships with all team members to promote cooperation, morale, and productivity
- Communicate effectively with guests to generate enthusiasm about the Dave & Buster's experience
- Read and communicate clearly in English including greetings, requests and farewells
- Listen to guests’ needs and communicate verbally with guests and team members
- Follow dress code requirements and maintain a neat, clean, professional appearance
- Be at least 18 years of age
