Job Requirements

  • ability to maintain a neat and professional appearance including minimal jewelry and well-groomed hair
  • willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • strong customer service orientation
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks related to the role
  • excellent verbal communication skills
  • ability to handle communication professionally over the phone
  • must be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles preferred
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to stay organized and multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • genuine friendly and approachable demeanor
  • ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • basic knowledge of restaurant operations is beneficial

Job Duties

  • greet guests, escort them to their table, and present menus
  • keep the host stand clean and organized at all times
  • maintain cleanliness of the dining room, entryway, bathrooms, and menus
  • communicate accurate wait times to guests and manage wait lists effectively
  • keep count for individual servers to ensure fairness
  • answer all phone calls promptly and process to-go orders
  • assist with food running and bussing when appropriate
  • thank departing guests and invite them back
