Job Requirements

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design and production
  • proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud
  • portfolio demonstrating expertise in print and digital design
  • demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • familiarity with accessibility standards and universal design
  • strong attention to detail
  • proficiency with Microsoft 365
  • ability to follow project workflows and meet deadlines
  • commitment to accurate documentation and asset management
  • understanding of copyright law and licensing
  • professional demeanor and quality focus

Job Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in graphic design and production
  • proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • portfolio demonstrating expertise in print and digital design, brand systems, and accessibility-conscious work
  • demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • experience designing for higher education audiences preferred
  • familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1 AA) and universal design best practices preferred
  • experience taking photography for marketing purposes preferred
  • strong attention to detail and visual quality assurance
  • proficiency with Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn new platforms
  • ability to follow established project workflows while offering creative solutions
  • commitment to maintaining accurate documentation and asset metadata
  • understanding and compliance with copyright law and image licensing
  • upholds professionalism and quality in design work

Job Duties

  • Design compelling, student-centered visuals that support enrollment, retention, and student success campaigns
  • develop visual materials that tell the story of ChattState students, alumni, and programs through accessible and inclusive design
  • translate complex processes into clear, easy-to-follow infographics or visual guides
  • ensure designs meet accessibility standards supporting access to information for all learners
  • create materials that showcase academic excellence and faculty achievements
  • collaborate with faculty, departments, and marketing team members to visually promote academic programs and opportunities
  • lead visual design components of strategic initiatives including website redesign, new digital tools, and emerging communication platforms
