Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience
- minimum of 4 years’ experience in grants and event management
- excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- strong organizational skills
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Job Duties
- Lead grants prospecting efforts to identify new institutional funding opportunities aligned with Faith In Practice’s mission and programs
- develop, write, and submit compelling grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and reports in collaboration with internal stakeholders
- create detailed and accurate grant budgets in coordination with the CDO/CFO and program staff
- manage grants submission schedules, reporting deadlines, and stewardship requirements to ensure compliance with funder expectations
- compile and maintain all required grant documentation, narratives, budgets, and supporting materials
- track grant activity, outcomes, and reporting requirements in coordination with the Programs, Development and Accounting teams
- collaborate with the Chief Development Officer on grant strategy, pipeline development, funding priorities, and funder relationships
- work closely with Event Consultant to produce annual fundraising and engagement events
- coordinate logistics and communication for Board of Directors meetings
- participate in event budgeting and contract negotiations
- manage event expenses and timelines
- lead communication with event vendors including venues and AV companies
- project manage technical and experiential event production aspects
- manage event communications distribution and design with Marketing Specialist
- work with event chairs on sponsor-related tasks including letters, guest lists, and program scheduling
- collaborate with Development Manager on event guest data and giving
- assist Director of Development in donor identification and stewardship related to events
- perform other development-related duties as assigned
