Job Requirements

  • minimum 3 years of professional work experience sufficient to demonstrate competence with grant writing, annual giving, project management, proposal preparation, and administrative duties, preferred
  • bachelor's degree preferred
  • ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • excellent written and oral communication skills
  • highly organized
  • high-energy team player
  • advanced knowledge of Office suite

Job Duties

  • assist in the research and identification of grant opportunities that align with institutional priorities
  • support the preparation and submission of grant proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting documentation
  • maintain a calendar of grant deadlines, submission dates, and reporting requirements
  • assist in maintaining grant files to ensure accurate records of applications, awards, and communications
  • collaborate with campus partners to prepare proposals and reports, including writing case statements, gathering data, developing goals and objectives
  • manage internal communications and meetings related to grant planning and reporting
  • assist in the implementation of annual giving campaigns including direct mail, email, and social media outreach
  • collaborate with marketing department and executive director of institutional advancement to develop appeals
  • coordinate event logistics for annual fundraising events
  • track employee giving through the employee giving campaign
  • provide support for alumni events on and near campus throughout the year
