Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Relevant work experience
  • Ability to manage budgets and financial records
  • Experience with clerical and administrative duties
  • Ability to organize events and coordinate activities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for professional development and student trips
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some college or associate's degree preferred in business management or related field
  • 1 year preferred experience in TRIO or migrant student service programs
  • 1 year preferred experience in education-related field
  • 1 year preferred experience with grant program operations
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate TSTC core values of excellence, accountability, service, and integrity with stakeholders
  • Monitor and maintain control of expenditures and billing within the grant budget
  • Prepare and submit requisitions, travel requests, and make travel arrangements
  • Organize and coordinate student sessions, trips, and events
  • Perform clerical duties including answering phones and greeting visitors
  • Create and maintain accurate student records and databases
  • Assist the Grant Administrator with report preparation and data compilation
