Job Requirements

- Relevant work experience
- Ability to manage budgets and financial records
- Experience with clerical and administrative duties
- Ability to organize events and coordinate activities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and database software

- Ability to maintain confidentiality and demonstrate integrity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Some college or associate's degree preferred in business management or related field
- 1 year preferred experience in TRIO or migrant student service programs
- 1 year preferred experience in education-related field
- 1 year preferred experience with grant program operations
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
Job Duties
- Demonstrate TSTC core values of excellence, accountability, service, and integrity with stakeholders
- Monitor and maintain control of expenditures and billing within the grant budget
- Prepare and submit requisitions, travel requests, and make travel arrangements
- Organize and coordinate student sessions, trips, and events
- Perform clerical duties including answering phones and greeting visitors
- Create and maintain accurate student records and databases
- Assist the Grant Administrator with report preparation and data compilation
