Job Duties

  • Use pars from the daily production chart to prepare products
  • bring necessary tools, plates, and food items to the line section and maintain these items throughout the shift
  • follow standard portion control in assembling dishes from the Mexican line
  • mentally process no fewer than 1.2 orders per minute from the Expeditor, POS, or KDS while assembling plates
  • assemble no fewer than 1 plate per minute during high-volume business periods
  • communicate effectively with the Expeditor
  • clean and maintain the hot box, steam table, stove, steam kettle, braising pan, and counter/work space
  • adhere to health and sanitation standards
  • perform significant movement throughout the shift, including standing, walking, bending, stooping, turning, and lifting objects up to 50 pounds with speed and accuracy
  • work autonomously within specific job functions while interacting extensively with coworkers to accomplish tasks
  • be a team player, especially during high-stress meal periods
  • follow all company policies, health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • understand and use cleaning chemicals appropriately
