Job Requirements
- Enrolled at grand canyon university as a full-time student in a bachelor’s or master’s program
- Retain a 2.0 GPA as a bachelor level student or 3.0 GPA as a master level student
- Maintain good financial and academic standing with the university
- Must have strong customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to build and maintain relationships
- Must be able to memorize and recall recipes in a high-volume environment
- Must be able to understand and carry out instruction and ask for clarification if needed
- Must be able to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights and/or holidays up to 20 hours a week
- Must be available to perform many different tasks within the shop in a timely manner during each shift
- Ability to learn and problem solve quickly
Job Qualifications
- Be enrolled as a full-time student at Grand Canyon University in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program
- Retain a minimum 2.0 GPA for Bachelor’s students or 3.0 GPA for Master’s students
- Maintain good financial and academic standing with the university
- Possess strong customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Capability to build and maintain relationships
- Memorize and recall beverage recipes in a high-volume environment
- Understand and carry out instructions accurately and ask for clarification when needed
- Availability to perform various tasks within the shop timely during each shift
- Demonstrate quick learning and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays up to 20 hours a week
Job Duties
- Provide quality made-to-order beverages in a timely manner while following health safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ensure exceptional customer service by being aware of and meeting customer needs and expectations
- Follow operational policies and procedures including cash handling and drink making protocols
- Promote GCBC and GCU culture values and mission through all actions
- Maintain a clean and organized environment alongside team members
- Handle high-volume and high-stress periods with a calm and appropriate demeanor while upholding customer service standards
- Anticipate shop needs and act accordingly to meet shop and customer demands
- Communicate necessary information to Shift Leads and Managers
- Contribute positively to the team environment
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance
