Job Requirements
- minimum of 16 years of age
- previous cashiering experience preferred
- ability to perform simple reading, math, and writing tasks
- ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- physical capability to stand, walk, balance frequently and occasionally bend
- ability to lift/carry and push/pull up to 10lbs
- capable of repetitive hand use and grasping motions
- visual acuity including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision
Job Qualifications
- previous cashiering experience is preferred
- ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills
- coordination, supervising, following instructions, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours
- must be a minimum of 16 years of age
Job Duties
- greet and seat guests by utilizing department greeting and steps of service
- manage reservations including calling and confirming upcoming reservations
- manage waitlist by providing accurate wait time estimates
- address guest inquires
- receive payment from guests in the form of cash, credit cards, and room charges and comp slips
- make changes as needed, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to accurately balance all monetary transactions
- make deposits/cash drops, complete appropriate cashier paperwork/reports, balance and secure bank
- interact with team members and guests in a professional and polite manner including complaints and concerns are effectively handled
- communicate special requests with management, service staff, and culinary team
- assist the support team to turn tables faster by resetting them quickly and efficiently
- take to-go orders and assure the orders are packed with the required condiments
- support and maintain Grand Sierra Resort guest service guidelines and other policies and procedures
- help maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
