Job Requirements
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills
- Flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
- Must be able to stand, walk and balance for extended periods
- Ability to occasionally lift/carry and push/pull up to 10lbs
- Must have coordination, supervising, following instructions, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making skills

- Previous cashiering experience preferred
- Ability of simple reading, math, writing and task completion skills

- Ability to handle guest and team members in a tactful and respectful manner
- Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours
- Minimum age of 16 years
- Combination of education, training or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
Job Duties
- Greet and seat guests by utilizing department greeting and steps of service
- Manage reservations including calling and confirming upcoming reservations
- Manage waitlist by providing accurate wait time estimates
- Address guest inquires
- Receive payment from guests in the form of cash, credit cards, and room charges and comp slips
- make changes as needed, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to accurately balance all monetary transactions
- Make deposits/cash drops, complete appropriate cashier paperwork/reports, balance and secure bank
- Interact with team members and guests in a professional and polite manner including complaints and concerns are effectively handled
- Communicate special requests with management, service staff, and culinary team
- Assist the support team to turn tables faster by resetting them quickly and efficiently
- Take to-go orders and assure the orders are packed with the required condiments
- Support and maintain Grand Sierra Resort guest service guidelines and other policies and procedures
- Help maintain safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations
- Any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
