Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Enrollment in a graduate program at Marshall University at time of appointment and throughout assistantship
- Previous involvement in fraternity/sorority life
- Ability to work 20 hours per week including evenings and weekends
- Commitment to mandatory reporting under university policy and Title IX regulations
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Enrollment in a graduate program at Marshall University
- Previous involvement in fraternity/sorority life
- Demonstrated experience with event planning, student organization advising, or leadership development
- Familiarity with campus engagement platforms
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Report to the assistant director of fraternity and sorority life
- Advise one or more governing councils such as IFC, NPHC, Panhellenic
- Assist in planning and implementing FSL events, leadership retreats, and trainings including risk management and academic success
- Monitor and enforce policies and procedures related to fraternity and sorority life
- Maintain and provide accurate membership records and rosters using HerdLink
- Collaborate with student leaders on risk management education and event registration
- Co-chair campus-wide student leadership conference committee
