Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- able to successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments within the prescribed time
- commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards
- availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- capable of lifting and moving moderate weight
- willingness to comply with company policies including drug-free workplace rules
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in food preparation or food service preferred
- knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- ability to operate and maintain kitchen equipment
- strong communication and teamwork skills
- proficiency with digital tools and technology for business operations
- customer service experience
- willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- food handler certification preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- communicate effectively with team members and be flexible to assist in other business areas
- prepare food according to item specifications and plan for future production and seasonality
- adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, cold chain compliance, and inventory management
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve member experience
- utilize handheld technology for business decisions related to production, ordering, and quality control
- drive performance of the café area by stocking and rotating merchandise and ensuring quality and date control
- provide member service by acknowledging members, identifying their needs, and assisting with purchasing decisions
- resolve member issues and concerns
- act as a brand advocate, develop and inspire others in a respectful and team-oriented manner
- comply with company policies, ethics, and standards of integrity
- complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, coworkers, and business partners
- adapt to and learn from change, difficulties, and feedback
