Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- previous experience in food preparation or food service preferred
- knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
- ability to operate and maintain food service equipment
- familiarity with inventory management and cold chain compliance
- effective communication and teamwork skills
- ability to learn and use digital tools and handheld technology
- strong customer service orientation
- ability to adapt to a changing work environment
- Food Service Food Handler Certification preferred
Job Duties
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of product specifications related to prepared food merchandise
- collaborate with cross-functional teams and educate other associates on tools, tasks, and resources
- communicate effectively with team members
- prepare food according to item specifications
- plan future and mass productions, including seasonality
- adhere to food safety standards, sanitation guidelines, and cold chain compliance
- operate, maintain, and sanitize equipment
- leverage digital tools to drive sales and improve associate engagement
- use handheld technology for production, ordering merchandise, receiving orders, training, and quality control
- stock and rotate merchandise
- ensure quality and date control standards
- eliminate waste
- provide member service by acknowledging members and identifying their needs
- assist members with purchasing decisions, payment types, merchandise location, and resolve issues
- act as a brand advocate and develop others through respectful and supportive teamwork
- comply with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards
- complete work assignments by collaborating with managers, co-workers, and customers
- communicate progress and recommend improvements
- adapt to change and feedback
- maintain a clean, sanitized, and member-ready area
- dispose of lesser-quality food products
- pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
- ensure shelves are clean and maintain temperature control
