Job Requirements

  • 2 plus years of experience as a food server in a fine-dining restaurant
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) preferred
  • Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays

  • 2 plus years of experience as a food server in a fine-dining restaurant
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin) preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards
  • Ability to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Greet guest in a positive, friendly manner and make them feel welcome
  • Guide guest through all phases of their experience at the restaurant
  • Knowledgeable of selling techniques, service delivery of both non and alcoholic beverages, and service delivery of menu items of every course
  • Itemize bills correctly and efficiently secure payment
  • Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned area, side station, tables and Point of Sale (POS) station
  • Anticipate the guest needs and respond appropriately with a sense of urgency
  • Communicate with management, chef and culinary staff in order to fulfill and address any issues or needs requested by guest and or employees
  • Perform other job-related duties as requested
