Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Relevant cooking experience or equivalent education preferred
  • Food handler certification required
  • Constant use of vision for detail-oriented tasks
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
  • Use of hands for reaching handling and manipulating objects
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 40 lbs
  • Willingness to work various shifts including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Knowledge of operating digital meters and scales
  • Experience with kitchen equipment ensuring safe operation

Job Duties

  • Plan and prepare dishes following recipes accurately while ensuring portion control
  • Monitor stock levels of gourmet food items and place precise orders as needed
  • Collaborate with deli personnel to fulfill catering orders effectively
  • Maintain quality control and adhere to food safety standards ensuring proper product stocking and rotation
  • Create visually appealing displays to enhance product sales and engage in suggestive selling
  • Foster a welcoming customer-focused atmosphere by greeting customers answering inquiries and presenting products
  • Ensure a clean safe and sanitary working environment by adhering to company safety procedures
