Job Duties
- Perform opening and closing duties including organizing provisions and equipment
- Clean all equipment and work areas
- Close and lock doors
- Organize, stock and maintain work areas
- Enter orders into the cash register system and process customer payments
- Take orders, enter them into the MICROS system and prepare food and coffee
- Ensure appliances such as coffee makers are turned on and off at appropriate times
- Clean tables and coffee cart areas
- Maintain cleanliness of dishes, utensils, work areas, tables, and equipment throughout the day
- Obtain change needed for expected transaction levels
- Balance cash register at end of shift, complete cashier reports, resolve discrepancies, secure cash
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents or injuries
- Complete required safety training and certifications
- Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
- Maintain confidentiality of company information
- Support coworkers and treat them with dignity and respect
- Assist team to achieve common goals
- Comply with quality assurance standards
- Move, lift, push, pull and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance
- Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods or entire shifts
- Read and visually verify information in various formats
- Inspect tools, equipment or machines for defects
- Reach overhead, below knees, bend, twist waist, drag and lean as required
- Navigate narrow, confined or elevated spaces
- Climb and descend stairways and ramps
- Greet and acknowledge all guests according to company standards
- Speak clearly and professionally
- Answer telephone calls with proper etiquette
- Perform other reasonable tasks as requested by supervisors
