Job Duties
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage reservations and create seating arrangements to ensure an efficient flow of guests
- Escort guests to their tables and provide them with menus
- Assist in coordinating with the waitstaff team to ensure timely service
- Answer phone calls and provide information to guests regarding restaurant hours, specials, and promotions
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the host area, including keeping the reception area clean and tidy
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure accurate wait times and communicate any special requests or considerations
- Address and resolve guest concerns or complaints in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain knowledge of the restaurant's offerings, including menu items and daily specials
- Follow all health and safety regulations
