Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
proven experience as a cook
valid Food Hygiene Certificate
ability to work flexible hours including weekends
ability to follow sanitation and safety procedures
excellent physical stamina
strong attention to detail

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a cook
ability to follow all sanitation procedures
excellent physical condition and stamina
high level of creativity and ability to work under pressure
valid Food Hygiene Certificate
certificate in Culinary Arts or related field and/or relevant coursework
strong communication, organizational and time management skills

Job Duties

Prepare ingredients for menu items
cook food in various utensils or grillers
check food while it is cooking to ensure quality
ensure great presentation by arranging and garnishing food before serving
keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
ensure all food and other items are stored properly
check quality of ingredients
