Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid State of Florida Class E driver’s license with no more than six points in three years
- Ability to work a fluctuating schedule including mornings afternoons evenings weekends and holidays
- Successful completion of criminal background check
- Employment verification
- Drug and alcohol screening
- Physical examination
- Motor vehicle record check
- Acceptance and proper reporting of gratuities
- Ability to perform basic mechanical maintenance on golf carts
Job Qualifications
- Graduation from high school or equivalent
- Strong knowledge of or playing experience in the game of golf preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing
- Skilled in customer service problem solving and time management
- Ability to operate motorized vehicles safely
- Ability to perform light mechanical maintenance on golf carts
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Job Duties
- Greet customers upon arrival and provide farewell at departure
- Retrieve customers golf bags from vehicles and stage on carts
- Prepare operate and perform light maintenance on golf car fleet
- Set up monitor and break down practice facility operations
- Clean golf clubs following play and return them
- Wash golf cars and replenish supplies
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Assist customers with requests as needed
- Provide information about course rules and cart use
- Check cart barn area for safety hazards
- Monitor supplies related to golf carts such as tires batteries and cleaning materials
- Perform related tasks as required
