Job Requirements

  • Graduation from high school or equivalent
  • ability to work up to 25 hours per week including mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • basic computer and math skills
  • ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, lifting up to 20 lbs, and pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs
  • valid Florida driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days
  • willingness to work flexible schedule including holidays
  • ability to operate golf course vehicles including golf carts and driving range picker

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent education and experience
  • previous experience in customer service preferred
  • knowledge of golf and golf course operations preferred
  • basic computer skills including email and tee time software
  • strong interpersonal communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • problem-solving skills
  • ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
  • clear oral and written communication
  • ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Provides excellent customer service
  • greets and welcomes customers
  • provides golf course information to customers
  • manages daily tee sheets using Club Caddie software
  • arranges players in proper starting order
  • verifies that all revenues have been properly charged by inspecting and reconciling receipts
  • maintains a clean and orderly work area
  • maintains accurate tee sheet records
  • monitors pace of play through turn times and communication with Player Assistance
  • proficient in all golf course policies including golfer classifications, rainchecks, refunds, lightning safety, equipment rental, dress code
