Job Requirements

  • Must provide valid document(s) to work in the United States
  • Must be 21 years of age or older
  • Food Handler Certificate (required within 30 days of hire)
  • RBS Certification (required within 30 days of hire)
  • Level One Sommelier certification preferred

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum one-year of bartending experience in an upscale restaurant environment
  • Private club, resort and/or hospitality experience preferred
  • Ability to read and interpret menus, safety rules and procedure manuals
  • Ability to read, understand and execute written and verbal instructions
  • Professional communication skills for interacting with members, guests, and colleagues
  • Knowledge of beer, wine and spirits and ability to describe accurately to members and guests
  • Knowledge of general food service and bartending industry standards
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays and weekends
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed, professional appearance consistent with Club and departmental standards

Job Duties

  • Provide members and their guests with a warm, professional and welcoming greeting, using names when known
  • Accurately record and input orders into the POS system
  • Monitor tee sheets to ensure timely and efficient service to golfers
  • Deliver food and beverage orders on course when needed
  • Serve as the liaison between the golfers and Dunes bar service window
  • Expedite food and beverage orders to golfers on the course while supporting pace of play
  • Prepare drinks in accordance with Club recipe and/or industry standards when required
