Job Requirements
- Level 0- no driver's license required
- Proven knowledge of golf rules and etiquette
- Knowledge of computer input and retrieval systems
- Ability to supervise and manage employees effectively
- Ability to operate a calculator
- Understanding of cash accounting principles
- Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing
- Ability to work independently and establish priorities
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to establish professional and harmonious working relationships
- Subject to drug and alcohol testing according to Fond du Lac Reservation policies
- Subject to pre-employment and annual background checks
- Prolonged sitting, standing and walking required
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions including working in a smoking environment

- Familiarity with budget development and financial management
- Experience in marketing and staff training
Job Duties
- Coordinate and supervise tournaments, group outings and leagues
- PGA scoring and run special events with regular daily play
- Supervise the clubhouse departments
- Participate in events scheduled at the Clubhouse
- Work open and closing shifts according to schedules
- Assist in marketing and promotional programs
- Assist in training clubhouse staff
- Implement general policies established by the Board of Directors of Fond du Lac Management, Inc and direct their administration and execution
- Plan, develop and approve specific operational policies, programs, procedures and methods in concert with general policies
- Coordinate the development of the Golf Course's long range and annual business plans
- Develop, maintain and administer a sound organizational plan and initiate improvements as necessary
- Work with Fond du Lac Human Resources Department to establish personnel policy and monitor policies relating to personnel actions and training programs
- Coordinate development of operating and capital budgets according to Fond du Lac Budget Ordinance
- Coordinate and serve as ex-officio member of appropriate Golf Course committees
- Welcome and greet all Golf Course guests as practical during their visits
- Ensure the Golf Course is operated in accordance with all applicable federal laws
- Oversee the care and maintenance of all the Golf Course's physical assets and facilities
- Coordinate marketing programs of the Golf Course to promote its services and facilities
- Ensure highest standards of food, beverage, sports, recreation, entertainment and other services
- Establish and monitor compliance with purchasing policies and procedures of the Fond du Lac Reservation
- Review and initiate programs to provide guests with a variety of popular events
- Analyze financial statements, manage cash flow and establish controls to safeguard funds
- Work with subordinate department heads to schedule, supervise and direct the work of all employees
- Develop and maintain clear lines of authority and communication channels
- Participate in outside activities to enhance the prestige of the Golf Course and broaden its operation as a community participant
- Respond promptly to all requests, complaints and problems professionally
- Demonstrate courtesy, respect and sensitivity to the needs of all others including visitors and co-workers
- Represent the Fond du Lac Band and the department in a positive and professional manner in the community
- Maintain proper attendance and punctuality
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Assume other responsibilities assigned by management as necessary
