The Clubhouse Cook position is integral to the smooth and efficient operation of the food service within a vibrant golf course environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • minimum 1 year experience as cook or line cook
  • ability to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and during special events
  • capability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • valid food handler's certification or ability to obtain it
  • adherence to health and safety standards
  • strong communication skills
  • multitasking ability

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • 1+ year of experience as a cook or line cook, preferably in a golf course, country club, or hospitality environment
  • familiarity with short-order, grill, and banquet cooking
  • knowledge of food safety standards and ability to obtain/maintain a food handler's certification
  • strong multitasking, time management, and communication skills
  • flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, holidays, and during tournaments or special events
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs

Job Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items for breakfast, lunch, and special events following established recipes and standards
  • support short-order grill service during peak hours such as tournaments, weekends, and club events
  • ensure food is prepared to order, well-presented, and served at the appropriate temperature
  • maintain a clean, stocked, and organized workstation at all times
  • assist with banquet prep, buffet setup, and other clubhouse events as needed
  • follow all health and safety guidelines for food handling, sanitation, and personal hygiene
  • communicate effectively with front-of-house staff to ensure guest satisfaction
  • participate in kitchen opening and closing procedures, including equipment cleaning and inventory checks
  • monitor stock levels and alert supervisor when supplies are low or need replenishment
  • provide input on menu items, seasonal offerings, and event menus when requested
