Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- minimum 2 years food and beverage experience
- prior golf course experience preferred
- previous supervisory experience
- ability to use POS system
- valid driver’s license
- must be at least 21 years old
- manager level food certification
- Title 4 AZ liquor certification
- regular attendance
- ability to work additional hours including weekends
- ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- follow safety standards and hygiene practices
- ability to lift between 25 and 50 pounds
- able to work outdoors in varying temperatures
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- bachelor’s degree preferred in hospitality management or related field
- minimum 2 years relevant food and beverage experience, prior golf course experience preferred
- previous supervisory experience required, preferably in a service industry
- ability to use POS systems
- ability to use employee self-service on company HR/payroll system
- strong leadership skills
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
- flexible and action-oriented
- skilled at active listening and problem solving
Job Duties
- Assist the Director of Golf in planning, organizing, and supervising all food and beverage operations within the Wigwam Golf Courses
- coordinate with the team to ensure quality service to guests
- supervise assigned team including beverage cart and halfway attendants with daily check-ins
- provide guidance, training, and support
- ensure adherence to food and safety sanitation standards
- handle complaints concerning food, beverages, or service and report to management
- complete all side work and cleaning tasks according to schedule
- cross-train in the golf shop as a golf shop attendant
- manage food and beverage inventory including ordering and receiving supplies
- conduct regular audits of staff inventories and paperwork
- assist staff with closing paperwork
- write the weekly staff schedule
- conduct food and beverage staff evaluations
- support staff during large group outings
- cross-train in other areas and provide support as needed
- document employee policy or procedure violations and provide coaching
- fill in as Manager on Duty (MOD) as needed
- participate in meetings and training
- conform with safety standards and use appropriate safety equipment
- maintain good personal hygiene
- perform other duties as assigned
