Job Requirements

  • Possess and maintain a valid Oregon Driver's License
  • Have access to a working cell phone
  • Six months experience in golf operations or equivalent combination of training and experience
  • Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Availability for weekday closing shift from 4 PM to 9 PM Monday through Friday
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
  • Ability to comply with safety requirements
  • Ability to communicate professionally with public and staff
  • Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification upon hire

Job Qualifications

  • Six months experience in golf operations or equivalent
  • Basic knowledge of custodial operations
  • General knowledge of golf, golf etiquette, and equipment preferred
  • Basic computer skills including email and running daily tee sheet
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to read, write, perform basic math and follow instructions
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
  • Effective communication skills
  • CPR/AED certification may be obtained upon hire
  • Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License

Job Duties

  • Perform opening and closing procedures
  • Provide customer service to patrons
  • Collect and replenish driving range balls using power or manual methods
  • Collect range baskets and store in designated areas
  • Prepare and stage power and push carts professionally
  • Direct start of play when necessary
  • Enforce golf course rules
  • Organize and clean rental equipment
  • Provide general custodial services of the driving range and golf course
  • Create a safe and positive environment during all activities
