Job Requirements
- Possess and maintain a valid Oregon Driver's License
- Have access to a working cell phone
- Six months experience in golf operations or equivalent combination of training and experience
- Ability to perform physical work including lifting up to 50 pounds
- Availability for weekday closing shift from 4 PM to 9 PM Monday through Friday
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions
- Ability to comply with safety requirements
- Ability to communicate professionally with public and staff
- Ability to obtain CPR/AED certification upon hire
Job Qualifications
- Six months experience in golf operations or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of custodial operations
- General knowledge of golf, golf etiquette, and equipment preferred
- Basic computer skills including email and running daily tee sheet
- Customer service skills
- Ability to read, write, perform basic math and follow instructions
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely
- Effective communication skills
- CPR/AED certification may be obtained upon hire
- Possession of a valid Oregon Driver's License
Job Duties
- Perform opening and closing procedures
- Provide customer service to patrons
- Collect and replenish driving range balls using power or manual methods
- Collect range baskets and store in designated areas
- Prepare and stage power and push carts professionally
- Direct start of play when necessary
- Enforce golf course rules
- Organize and clean rental equipment
- Provide general custodial services of the driving range and golf course
- Create a safe and positive environment during all activities
