Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old at time of application
  • must be able to arrive to work to either Kenosha County golf facilities as scheduled and can vary on work assignment
  • must be available to work scheduled holidays and weekends
  • must be able to work overtime when needed, with or without advance notice
  • must possess a valid driver's license at time of hire and maintain during incumbency, with acceptable driving record
  • ServSafe Certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • associate degree in Food Service Management preferred or equivalent experience in the food service industry
  • three years of experience in managing a restaurant or an institutional kitchen
  • knowledge of Wisconsin Food Code and nutritional standards
  • skill in communicating effectively with guests and co-workers
  • skill in basic accounting principles
  • ability to promote inclusivity and effectively engage with a diverse workforce and consumer base

Job Duties

  • Monitor the production of food by staff and workers
  • provide expertise on menu items, offerings, portions, specials, and procurement of ingredients
  • help coordinate menus for special events (outings) with Golf Division staff to ensure food costs and gratuity are properly accounted for
  • assist with maintaining required staffing levels in a fiscally responsible manner and maintaining work schedules
  • maintain all records of input costs and provide analysis as requested
  • be alert on opportunity purchases for cost savings
  • keep track of menu planning and ensure all required ingredients are in facility ready for production
