Job Duties

  • Ensure proper flatware and appropriate plates are on table prior to food being delivered
  • Pick up order allowing for proper distribution
  • Deliver condiments before or at the time food is served
  • Present each item and confirm guest satisfaction and offer additional services
  • Serve ladies first, then men, end with host
  • Serve all food from the right with the right hand
  • Refresh beverages and offer to replenish cocktail orders
  • Ensure tables are properly set and side stations are clean
  • Assist with initial guest complaints and inform manager
  • Maintain side stations clean and orderly
  • Maintain par stock levels inside stations
  • Pre-bus tables as guests finish dishes
  • Assist with stock rotation
  • Keep dining room floor clean and free of debris/liquids
  • Polish silverware
  • Interact positively with high volume of customers
  • Build guest relations by talking with customers
  • Observe all activity and offer assistance
  • Report any unusual activity
  • Handle routine customer complaints or escalate to management
  • Ensure guests receive friendly and helpful service
  • Use open body language and polite communication
  • Maintain facility cleanliness by disposing of trash
  • Ensure monetary and paperwork accuracy
  • Adhere to company policies ethically
  • Resolve guest disputes promptly or notify manager
  • Cross-train in other food and beverage areas
  • Perform other duties as assigned
