Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food service or retail management preferred
  • ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
  • capability to bend, reach overhead, and handle kitchen equipment
  • comfortable working in varying temperature environments including near open flames
  • able to work in tight spaces and maintain constant communication
  • good vision including close, distance and peripheral
  • ability to sit, squat, kneel occasionally
  • capable of working safely in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • able to work outdoors occasionally

Job Qualifications

  • experience in leadership or management positions in restaurant or hospitality industry
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to coach and develop team members effectively
  • understanding of restaurant operations and customer service
  • capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • basic administrative skills including working with budgets and P&L statements
  • willingness to learn and adapt
  • passion for Mediterranean cuisine and hospitality

Job Duties

  • work closely with management team and team members to ensure our guests receive mind-blowing experiences
  • deliver memorable guest experiences and coach other managers how to partner with the general manager on recruiting, orientation, training, and performance evaluations of team members and supervisors
  • ensure team members and management team are trained properly using CAVA tools
  • provide performance feedback and recognition to team members on a consistent basis
  • assist and learn from the general manager to execute administration duties including P&L, budgets, and cost controls regarding food, beverage and labor goals
  • proven track record of coaching and developing team members
  • assist with any additional duties assigned
