Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in customer service or leadership roles preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend and reach overhead often
- Dexterity to handle kitchen equipment such as tongs, pots, and pans
- Comfortable working in temperatures ranging from hot to cold
- Ability to work near open flames and in tight spaces
- Must maintain constant communication with multiple people
- Good close, distance, and peripheral vision
- Ability to sit, squat and kneel occasionally
- Capacity to work safely and remain alert at all times
- Willingness to work outdoors occasionally
- Full-time availability
Job Qualifications
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred
- Demonstrated leadership skills with ability to coach and develop teams
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing environments
- Basic understanding of financial management including budgeting and cost control
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced restaurant environment
Job Duties
- Work closely with management team and team members to ensure guests receive exceptional experiences
- Deliver memorable guest experiences and coach other managers on recruiting, orientation, training, and performance evaluations of team members and supervisors
- Ensure team members and management team are trained properly using CAVA tools
- Provide performance feedback and recognition to team members consistently
- Assist and learn from the general manager to execute administrative duties including P&L, budgets, and cost controls regarding food, beverage and labor goals
- Coach and develop team members effectively
- Assist with any additional duties assigned
