Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to bend and reach overhead frequently
- Dexterity to handle kitchen equipment such as tongs, pots, and pans
- Comfortable working in various temperature conditions including hot and cold environments
- Ability to work near open flames
- Capability to work in tight spaces
- Excellent communication skills
- Close, distance, and peripheral vision required
- Ability to sit, squat, and kneel occasionally
- Maintain a constant state of alertness and safety
- Occasionally work outdoors in various weather conditions
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality management preferred
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with basic computer applications
- Demonstrated ability to coach and develop team members
- Understanding of financial principles related to budgeting and cost controls
- Passion for delivering excellent guest experiences
Job Duties
- Work closely with management team and team members to ensure our guests receive mind-blowing experiences
- Deliver memorable guest experiences and coach other managers how to partner with the general manager on recruiting, orientation, training, and performance evaluations of team members and supervisors
- Ensure team members and management team are trained properly using CAVA tools
- Provide performance feedback and recognition to team members on a consistent basis
- Assist and learn from the general manager to execute administration duties including P&L, budgets, and cost controls regarding food, beverage and labor goals
- Proven track record of coaching and developing team members
- Assist with any additional duties assigned
