Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in restaurant or food service environment
  • ability to stand for long periods
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • comfort working in varied temperature environments
  • dexterity to handle kitchen equipment
  • ability to work near open flames
  • maintain constant communication with team members
  • ability to sit, squat, and kneel occasionally
  • willingness to work in a safe and alert manner
  • openness to occasionally work in outdoor weather conditions

Job Qualifications

  • proven ability to coach and develop team members
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • knowledge of restaurant operations and financial management

Job Duties

  • work closely with management team and team members to ensure guests receive mind-blowing experiences
  • deliver memorable guest experiences and coach managers on recruiting, orientation, training, and performance evaluations
  • ensure team members and management team are trained properly using CAVA tools
  • provide performance feedback and recognition to team members consistently
  • assist and learn from the general manager to execute administrative duties including P&L, budgets, and cost controls
  • maintain a proven track record of coaching and developing team members
  • assist with any additional duties assigned
