Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Seven years of project management or office coordination experience
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, education, general liberal arts, or related field
  • Three years of project management or office coordination experience preferred
  • TAGME certification preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must have legal authorization to work in the United States
  • Must pass pre-employment screening including criminal background check and TB screening

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED with seven years of project management or office coordination experience
  • Preferred bachelor’s degree in business, education, general liberal arts, or related field with three years of relevant experience
  • TAGME certification preferred
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written
  • Strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of program policies, procedures, and accreditation standards
  • Ability to handle unexpected situations calmly and efficiently

Job Duties

  • Collaborate with program director to ensure program meets ACGME accreditation requirements
  • Manage ACGME Accreditation Data System including resident rosters, evaluations, surveys, and case log reporting
  • Participate in development and management of program improvement plans and UAMS GME Annual Program Evaluation
  • Develop, review, and update program-level policies annually
  • Prepare for ACGME Self-Study process and site visits
  • Staff Program Evaluation Committee and Clinical Competency Committee meetings
  • Assist in creation and oversight of educational curriculum and activities such as didactic conferences and board preparation
  • Provide administrative supervision and support to residents and fellows
  • Track and report compliance with policies and procedures
  • Compile monthly billing reports and manage specialty-specific trainee exams
  • Oversee program budget and purchasing processes
  • Plan and implement annual events including graduation and retreats
  • Manage visa request processes
  • Coordinate resident candidate recruitment, selection, onboarding, advancement, and checkout processes
  • Maintain and update program website and promotional materials
  • Utilize New Innovations residency management software for personnel records, schedules, evaluations, and duty hour tracking
  • Maintain resident files including training processes and ECFMG documentation
  • Facilitate training verification and resident progress reviews
  • Manage resident compliance with annual requirements
  • Attend Program Coordinator Organization meetings to meet continuing education requirements
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary
