Job Requirements

  • Hotel experience of 5 to 10 years
  • Experience in luxury and international hospitality settings
  • Proven track record in hotel opening or repositioning
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple departments and large teams
  • Competency in financial management and budgeting
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in remote locations if required

Job Qualifications

  • A university degree in hotel management or a related field
  • Experience in opening, managing, or re-positioning a hotel with a clear track record
  • Excellent computer system skills
  • At least 15 to 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including luxury and international experience
  • 5 to 10 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager

Job Duties

  • Oversee the operations functions of the hotel as per the organizational chart
  • Hold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments
  • Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards
  • Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment
  • Handle complaints and oversee the service recovery procedures
  • Prepare, present, and achieve the hotel’s annual operating budget, marketing and sales plan, and capital budget
  • Manage ongoing hotel profitability ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
