Job Requirements
- Hotel experience of 5 to 10 years
- Experience in luxury and international hospitality settings
- Proven track record in hotel opening or repositioning
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple departments and large teams
- Competency in financial management and budgeting
- Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills
- Ability to work in remote locations if required
Job Qualifications
- A university degree in hotel management or a related field
- Experience in opening, managing, or re-positioning a hotel with a clear track record
- Excellent computer system skills
- At least 15 to 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry, including luxury and international experience
- 5 to 10 years of experience as a General Manager or Assistant General Manager
Job Duties
- Oversee the operations functions of the hotel as per the organizational chart
- Hold regular briefings and meetings with all heads of departments
- Ensure full compliance with hotel operating controls, SOPs, policies, procedures, and service standards
- Lead all key property issues including capital projects, customer service, and refurbishment
- Handle complaints and oversee the service recovery procedures
- Prepare, present, and achieve the hotel’s annual operating budget, marketing and sales plan, and capital budget
- Manage ongoing hotel profitability ensuring revenue and guest satisfaction targets are met and exceeded
