Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in retail or customer service roles beneficial but not required
- strong communication skills
- ability to operate handheld scanners and multi-frequency communication devices
- ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- problem-solving skills and ability to resolve guest questions quickly
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- ability to maintain focus and composure in a fast-paced environment
- basic math skills for cash handling
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- thank guests and let them know we are happy they chose to shop at Target
- execute daily tasks assigned by your leader including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for general merchandise areas
- operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or store fixtures
- execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed
- learn how operational procedures affect inventory management, store profitability, and product availability
- be knowledgeable about resources, products, and services to solve guest issues and improve their experience
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work safely at all times and comply with safety policies and training
- support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes while maintaining compliance
- perform other duties as required based on business needs
