Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate power equipment when certified
- Flexible work schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Ability to climb ladders
- Ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Capable of working in varying temperatures and conditions such as humidity
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment as directed
- Work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
- Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- Thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
- Execute daily tasks assigned to you by your leader to help achieve goals that align with business priorities including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas
- Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified
- Execute processes including changing prices to products, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy as directed by your leader for all areas
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier, and digital fulfillment processes such as picking and packing orders or delivering pickup orders to guests while maintaining compliance culture
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work in a safe manner at all times and comply with all safety policies, best practices, and training
