Job Requirements
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and peak shopping times
- Ability to climb ladders and handle physical tasks including lifting merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Capability to work in varying temperatures and environmental conditions
- Ability to remain mobile and active for the duration of shifts
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Commitment to safety and compliance standards
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in retail or customer service is beneficial
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact positively with guests and team members
- Ability to operate handheld scanners, multi-frequency communication devices, and other technology equipment
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new operational procedures and technologies
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- Engage with guests to help solve their specific needs
- Thank guests and express appreciation for shopping at Target
- Execute daily tasks assigned by leaders including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs
- Operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or store fixtures
- Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes including picking, packing, and delivering pickup orders
- Work in a safe manner by complying with safety policies, reporting hazards, and demonstrating ethical conduct
- Maintain knowledge about store resources, products, and services to enhance guest experience
- Perform all other business needs duties as assigned
