Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ability to handle cash register operations accurately
- capability to climb up and down ladders
- ability to scan, handle, and move merchandise safely including lifting up to 44 pounds
- flexible work schedule with availability for nights, weekends, and holidays
- reliable and prompt attendance
- willingness and capability to work in varying temperature and exposure conditions
- ability to remain mobile during the entire shift
- legal eligibility to work in the US
Job Qualifications
- Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency
- knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture
- ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners and other technology equipment
- work both independently and with a team
- attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment
- welcoming and helpful attitude
- resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
- engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- thank guests and let them know we’re happy they chose to shop at Target
- execute daily tasks assigned by your leader including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs
- operate power equipment if certified to move merchandise or store fixtures
- execute processes like changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy
- support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes including picking, packing, and delivering pickup orders
- demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- work in a safe manner complying with all safety policies and report or correct hazards
- perform all other duties based on business needs
