Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to thrive in a fast-moving, physically demanding role
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to accurately handle cash register operations
- Capability to climb ladders
- Ability to lift or move merchandise up to 44 pounds safely
- Reliable and prompt attendance
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of shift
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture
- Experience in retail business fundamentals including department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency
- Experience executing daily/weekly workloads to support business priorities and sales goals
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward guests and team members
- Ability to communicate using multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you are completing your daily tasks
- Engage with guests in a welcoming way to help solve their specific needs
- Thank guests and let them know we are happy they chose to shop at Target
- Execute daily tasks assigned by leaders including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs
- Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified
- Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and inventory accuracy
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes
