Job Requirements
- Able to handle cash registers accurately as needed
- Capable of climbing ladders safely
- Ability to scan, move, and handle merchandise weighing up to 44 pounds without assistance
- Flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Reliable and punctual attendance
- Ability to work in varying temperature and humidity conditions
- Capacity to remain mobile and physically active throughout the scheduled shift
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in retail operations or customer service is beneficial
- Strong communication skills for guest and team interactions
- Ability to operate handheld scanners and multiple frequency devices
- Capability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- Ability to handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests as you complete daily tasks
- Engage with guests to assist with their specific needs in a friendly manner
- Thank guests and express appreciation for choosing Target
- Execute daily tasks including receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs
- Operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures if certified
- Perform pricing changes, merchandise set-up and maintenance, and ensure inventory accuracy
- Support guest services such as back-up cashier duties and digital fulfillment processes including picking, packing, and delivering orders
- Demonstrate a culture of ethical conduct, safety, and compliance
- Work in a safe manner complying with all safety policies and training
- All other duties based on business needs
